A Life-Changing Prayer

When a person ask you to pray for them, how do you respond? Are you brave enough to say "Yes" and pray for them? Or are you afraid to pray because your prayer might not be good for them? Prayer is very important in our daily lives, it will lift anyone up to God. Our family, our friends and our relatives. When you pray consistently and sincerely, prayer has the power to save anyone from their difficulties, hardships and sufferings. It doesn't mean you will live in a problem-free life but God can use you to have an impact on those who are around you.

What are the essential elements of this life-changing prayer? Ask the Lord that the person would...

1. Be filled with the knowledge of God's will 2. Walk in a manner worthy of the Lord 3. Be "bearing fruit in every good work" 4. Be "increasing in the knowledge of God" 5. Be "strenghten with all power" 6. Be "joyously give thanks to the Father"

If you haven't pray for a while. Take a break and pray to Lord now and Pray sincerely.

Daily Rules From God

1. Wake Up!! Decide to have a good day. "Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalms 118:24

2. Dress Up!! The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart." I Samuel 16:7

3. Shut Up!! Say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking. "He who guards his lips guards his soul." Proverbs 13:3

4. Stand Up!!... For what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything.. "Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good..." Galatians 6:9-10

5. Look Up!!... To the Lord.
"I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me." Phillippians 4:13

6. Reach Up!!... For something higher. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, And He will direct your path."
Proverbs 3:5-6

7. Lift Up!!... Your Prayers.
"Do not worry about anything; instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING."
Philippians 4:6

Ecclesiastes

I really like the book of Ecclesiastes because it contains reflections of an old man, the "Preacher," as he considers the question of meaning in life. He looks back and sees the futility ("vanity") of chasing after even the good things this life can offer, including wisdom, work, pleasure, and wealth. Even if such things are satisfying for a time, death is certain to end this satisfaction.

In fact, God's judgement on Adam for his sin echoes throughout the book. Yet the person who lives in fear of the Lord can enjoy God's good gifts. Young people, especially, should remember their Creator while they still have their whole lives before them.

Traditionally interpreters of Ecclesiastes have identified the "Preacher," who is also called "the son of David, king in Jerusalem, as Solomon.

The best book

Nowadays, variety of books are piled up in the book stores. Books that are entertaining to read. Books that are so expensive, popular and on trend. Have you ever ask yourself which book is the best among you read? Books that are worth reading? Worth keeping? For me, all those books are not important except the BIBLE. Bible is the most important book in the whole universe. It is the manual guide of human race.

Bible is inspired by God. It was created thousands years ago and its still used today. The content of the bible is about the past, present and future. And also, the bible tells us how God sacrifice His own life just for us. Life of Jesus christ is also included. All you want to know in life is found in this book. Everything you ought to know.

Bible is the best book. If you haven't read any page of the bible. I suggest to start reading now. And feel the transformation in your life. Godbless everyone.

Influential singer and songwriter

John Lennon a member of The Beatles and also a solo artist. He loved to watch TV. He wrote the famous Beatles song "Good Morning, Good Morning" after seeing an ad for breakfast cereal. John fell in love with music when he was really young. When he became a teenager, he started to have problems with his eyesight so he always had to wear eye glasses later became his trademark!

Though his talent for drawing got him into the Liverpool College of Art, John decided to focus on his music career. He is best known for being part of The Beatles. Along with Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, he changed the way the world listened to music. John wrote a lot of songs and made rock music not just about rocking and rollin - he made sure his songs also had a lot of deep social messages that influenced how people thought about the world. But the band knew how to have fun too - many of his songs are also known for their funky lyrics, like "I Am The Walrus" and "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds."

The Believer's Passion

A believers passion can fade out if left untended. Just like a burning fire, it wont burn continuously without putting something to keep it alive. This usually happens to a new believer. They share their burning faith to others, serving God passionately but this enthusiasm fade unintentionally.

When trials struck their lives, they might think that God is not answering their prayers, that God doesn't love them anymore which causes a believer to cool down. He then, pray's less. Making a distance from God slowly and slowly until there is now a gap. Other believers can be sidetracked by the priorities in life. Doing the worldly things, putting the unimportant the most important like, spending all the time working, studying, playing and ect. Whatever the reason behind it. Satan is the root of that. He seduce every members of the church, lure's believer away from God. Away from the ways of God.

Drifting from God is difficult to notice. There are six question that help you determine whether your passion to God remains on fire. First is ask yourself, do I delight in Him? Am I willing to serve Him and others? Second question is, "Do I spend time reading the bible everyday?". Next, do I pray knowing that is there listening to every word I say? Fourth is, do you go to church regularly? The fifth question is do I experience happiness, contentment and hope with God? And lastly, do I stand firm in my godly convicetions?

If your answers have changed from yes to no, your passion may be fading. Right now, tell God about this. Ask God to keep your fire burning.

Indescribable

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea

Creation's revealing Your majesty

From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring

Every creature unique in the song that it sings

All exclaiming

Indescribable,uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God

All powerful, untamable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go

Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow

Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light

Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night

None can fathom

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name

You are amazing God

All powerful, untamable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

You are amazing God

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God

All powerful, untamable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God
Incomparable, unchangeable

You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same

You are amazing God

You are amazing God

Video Game-trianed surgeons are the best!

Mom wants you to be doctor? Tell her to fork over the cash for a top-notch console. The Director of the Advanced Medical Technologies Institute in New York, Dr. James Rosser Jr., whose job it is to improve the ways doctors are trained, believes that "Nintendo surgeons" who clock in at least three hours a week of finger-mashing video games make fewer mistakes when operating and finish the job faster. Rosser used the Nintendo game, Super Monkey Ball, to test his theories. Med School, here we come!

Tsunami tragedy triggers unlikely animal friendships

After losing its family in the devastating tsunami that hit Asia and Africa early this year, a baby hippo found an unusual new friend - a 100-year-old tortoise. "Owen", the hippo, was rescued and moved to an African zoo where it met its new pal, Mzee. They now hang out together all day, eating and sleeping together - practically inseparable. Park officials report, "The tortoise behaves like amother to it." Hmmm, sounds like a Pixar movie in the making! ^_^

Frustration...

We all have our frustrations in life. Some feel hindered from achieving goals. Because of this our possible reaction would be blaming circumstances or others instead of ourselves. These forces may cause unhappiness. But we can't be in peace if we take this steps.

There are three possibilities I know that may cause frustration. One is not being able to accept who we are, as ourselves. Some people desires to have talent, personality, or ability, but it turns out that you don't have this attribute. But, they’re exactly what we need to follow God’s will for our life. Dwelling on what we lack or what we would change distracts us from service.

Second is the unwillingness to face our past. We may have our painful past and memories or even recall horable mistakes that brought us heartaches. We just need to face and admit them. Then we can confront this from any emotional and psychological issues to move in peace.

Third is the denial of our behaivor and bad personality that are outside of God's will. Holding on to our bad and unGodly attitude won't get us anything good, instead it makes us try to justify ourselves to our Father and others.

We may have different source of frustration, but there is only one way to end this, and that is by relying on God for the strength to cope with it, and surrender to Him and he'll do the rest.Frustration...
